The Take Ivy 5 BMX Frame, itchin' for a sick frame?
If you have a red, itchy weight weenie rash that needs soothing then I present to you the ointment to alleviate your ailment: the new frame from The Take, The Ivy 5. It's hand made of supertherm cromoly by FBM in upstate New York. It literally weighs nothing, it sports scooted out geometry unapologetically, and apparently it costs 4 barrels of oil, 30 pounds of cocoa beans and one Moroccan baby. Get 'em while they're hot!
This is "Chameleon Cherry Violet", I'll work with the color.

Absolute Sickness: WeThePeople C.R.E.A.M. Frame
I'm kinda pissed this frame doesn't come in 20.5" and the back end is so short but it's still literally the most technologically advanced BMX frame to date. It is designed and marketed by the German BMX company WeThePeople and made in Taiwan out of heat treated 4130 cromo. It is the first BMX frame in history to make use of investment casting for the head tube and the seat tube junction. WeThePeople used the investment casting technique for the dropouts on the Warriors frame before and has used it for the integrated seat post clamp on most of the frames for a few years.
EDIT: wtp released the weights on this delayed frame and the fact is you probably shouldn't buy it because it weighs over 5 pounds for the 20.75". supposedly its cheaper to make them this way, or it will be, or something.

My non-commuting bike
My Solid AAv.2. I was rididing a 2000 s&m dirtbike classic since... well 2000. I never could justify buying new BMX parts until I started working in bike shops again. This is my dream bike and it is long overdue.
Full bike check after the jump.
